Description du poste

In order to support their growth, they are recruiting a:

LOGISTICS MANAGER (M/F) RESPONSABILITIES

The job includes, among others, the following activities:

• Management of the Company supply chain, with direct responsibility for the fulfilment of thedelivery plans, in accordance with Client forecasts and orders.

• Coordination of the customer service and order management department of the Company.

• Coordination of the supply chain activities of the Company’s designated wholly owned logisticmanagement entity, based in Ireland for planning, purchasing and logistic activities related to theCompany products.

• Supervision, monitoring and evaluating of performance of the supply chain, including stockmanagement in cooperation with the Corporate functions, in order to optimise processes.

• Assuring compliance with the logistic contractual obligations of the Company and of its Clients andSuppliers, with regards to supply and manufacturing (supply performances, minimum orderquantities, yields management and relevant compensations, obsolescences and write offs, etc.).• Develop and implement logistic guidelines and operating procedures.

• Liaising and coordinating with the Corporate Functions (Planning and Logistics, Purchasing,Manufacturing, Export Department, Packaging Materials Editing, Regulatory Affairs, QualityAssurance, etc.) that support the Company supply chain activities.

• Management, planning and strategy implementation of product supply activities, includinglaunches of new products, in close cooperation with the other parties concerned.

• Participate in the definition of new supply, manufacturing and license agreements, for anyprovisions affecting the supply chain.• Partake to meetings and relevant committees with licensor and suppliers.

• Implementation of projects designed to enhance the Supply Chain, of a technical, logistic andinformation technology nature.

BEHAVIORAL SKILL

• Extensive overall logistics management experience with specific experience in a projectmanagement role.

• Ability to communicate with others in an effective and concise manner. Excellent communicationskills in English is a pre-requisite.

• Possess strong analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution skills,

• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects, and process multiplecontemporaneous tasks

• Ability to understand complex technical information, and translate this information into relevantbusiness terms and concepts.

• Capable of developing clear and up-to-date procedural documentation

• Ability to manage and motivate staff involved in the logistics functionsQUALIFICATION• Candidate must hold a relevant technical University Degree.

• 8 to 10 years experience in logistics management in a pharmaceutical or diagnostic environment ismandatory.• Excellent knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of other European languages (Italian andFrench or German) is a valuable asset

• Computer-literate (Excel, Word); experience with an ERP (Ross Systems) being a distinct advantage

• Team player• Good communication skills

• Strong business acumen
